"Bulletproof" Coffee The Dave Asprey way (with a twist)

Picture

We're sure you've heard of Dave Asprey and his Bulletproof coffee, and if you haven't (OMG we are about to upgrade your life a little) then check him out here (but come back afterwards, okay?).

He'll give you health tips, show you ways to get fitter and stronger, and demonstrate how to lose the fat by eating fat (Oh yes). And above all he'll show you how to make a darned good organic keto bulletproof coffee.

As you can probably tell us lot at Only Organic Orgy are huge fans, so we thought we'd pinch his recipe and give it a slight twist. How DO you make a bulletproof coffee? I hear you ask. Well, it's all about chucking it in, tasting it, experimenting and then adding extra fat on top, whilst using our fave paleo approved coffee brand, Good Life Coffee.

Step aside avocado (until lunch), the best organic bulletproof coffee is coming your way.

So in the words of Mr. Asprey himself - are you ready to upgrade your life?
Okay let's do this.

THE Ingredients

A scoop of ground organic coffee from Good Life Coffee (or your fave brand)
2 Organic ginger supplement tablets or fresh organic ginger
2 teaspoons of organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon of grass-fed organic butter (or use coconut oil again to avoid butter)
A teaspoon of Organic Ceylon Cinnamon
Fresh organic Tumeric (or powdered)
Fresh filtered water
Optional: A dash of quality honey
Optional: Organic grass-fed collagen

Method In The Madness

1. Boil the filtered water, just enough to make a cup and a half and pour your ground coffee beans into your filter. (In other words, make a cup of coffee. But we mustn't assume everyone knows how!).

2. Get your Bullet blender or any type of blender. If you don't have one then a jar and a lot of shaking should do it... But be careful it's hot. Now add to the blender every single ingredient listed above (we told you it was simple!) except don't add the coffee beans... That would be gritty.

3. Now pour the coffee over the top of your ingredients. Pop the lid on TIGHT and blend for a maximum of 6 seconds. Blend it too long and the pressure and heat inside the blender will make it go POP. Ouch.

4. Now check out that froth! And have a sniff. Fragrant and festive, right?

5. Pour this delicious concoction into a thick mug. Grab a comfy sofa or curl up in bed, take a read of our latest Q & A with this goats' milk kefir brand, and have a sip of this Only Organic Orgy bliss.

TAH DAH!
