The Easiest And Most Nutritious Juice Recipe To Make In Your New Juicer
Juicing is delicious, nutritious and full of soooo much digestible goodness. And you know who loves juicing more than anyone? Your gut does. By extracting the juice from certain organic veg and some fruits, your gut can focus on getting the good stuff without working overtime.
We're currently using a (ahem...) masticating juicer by Bio Chef. It does the job. So far we've managed to do a two day juicing 'diet' but we had to go to a dinner party and ended up eating a roast dinner. But the aim is to do full-on juicing (with no other meals) for 5 days - e.g. the perfect 5-day juicing plan. This is to detox, replenish and rest our bodies.
If you aren't keen on the full-on juice plan, then a fresh organic juice each day is a fantastic way to get extra nutrients into your gut. Why not try a lemon juice shot in the morning to kick you into action? Or why not try drinking a fresh juice instead of having a heavy meal? To give your stomach a well deserved break! You'd be tired too churning food 24/7 - right?
This juice recipe is easy, effortless and fantastic for a cleanse, a detox and an alkaline boost. Just make sure you use organic produce when making your juice, so it's as pesticide-free as possible.
And a final note from us: choose to juice vegetables more often than fruit, so you can avoid unnecessary sugars.
Okay let's get started with this delicious detox juice you'll be more than happy to drink.
Ingredients to make 1 glass of glorious juice
A bunch of organic celery
3 organic carrots
A big chunk of organic ginger
1 organic orange
1 organic lemon (if you like it ZINGY)
Method In The Madness
1. Get your juicer prepped and ready.
The ease of this will depend on the brand, make and model of your juicer (!!)
2. Rinse your organic veggies and chop them all up into chunky pieces.
It's up to you if you peel them or not.
3. Peel the lemon and get the segments ready to pop into the juicer
4. Turn the juicer on and start juicing that fruit! Therapeutic right?
5. Once all the veggies have been juiced, pour the gorgeous juice into your favourite glass and garnish with perhaps a sprig of mint, a bay leaf or a chunk of lemon peel.
Sip & enjoy that goodness.
Enjoy! And thank us later.
